PRODUCT TOUR
From stock Android to a working Kali box.
Five steps from an unmodified phone to a running Kali environment. Each step links to the guide with the details.
01 / PREPARE
Know your starting point.
Check your Android version, ARM64 support, and free storage. Both APKs declare Android 8.0 as their minimum; individual capabilities can require more.
Check your device ↗02 / INSTALL
Give Linux a place to live.
Download the installer over a reliable connection, verify it, and allow installation from your chosen source when Android asks. Review permissions as part of setup.
Follow the installation guide ↗03 / FIRST BOOT
Take the first session slowly.
Keep the device powered and the app in the foreground while setup finishes. Start the environment using the controls in your installed build, then wait for a usable session before doing more.
If startup needs a hand ↗04 / EXPLORE
Meet your environment.
Open the guest terminal. Check where you are with pwd, inspect the system with uname -a, and list your files with ls. Explore desktop options if your build provides them.
05 / KEEP YOUR WORK
Make it a workspace.
Save your files, shut down cleanly, and check that your work is present after restarting. Keep important backups outside the app before clearing storage, reinstalling, or changing packages.
